Flowers in folders
A GPS Visualizer example map
This map was created by GPS Visualizer using raw data from the Oregon Flora Atlas. The "taxon" field in the original data was used to colorize the points by species, and it was also used as both the "folder" and "description" fields for each marker (using GPS Visualizer's synthesize folders and synthesize description options). The points were assigned names from the "location" field (using synthesize names).
The first three folders in the marker list are collapsed when the map first opens. The first folder has been hidden; its markers are not visible until you click its checkbox in the list.
